The list does not identify you and is not sent to us until you send a quotation request. - Because we store nothing that is not strictly needed, there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will ask first. This summary is a guide. The numbered clauses below are the policy. ## 1.What this policy covers 1.1This policy explains what Nutrify Private Limited stores on your device, in cookies or in your browser's local storage, when you use https://thecomposta.com. It should be read with our [Privacy policy](https://thecomposta.com/privacy-policy), which explains how we use personal information. 1.2We review this policy whenever we add a script, an embedded service or any other tool to the site, and at least when we change how the site works. ## 2.What we store 2.1We store one item in your browser's local storage, named composta.cart. It holds the packs and quantities on your quote list, and nothing else. It is created when you add a pack to your list and lets your list survive a refresh or a later visit. It has no expiry date. It stays until you remove the packs, clear your browser's site data, or send a quotation request, after which the list is emptied. 2.2The item stays on your device and is not sent to us until you send a quotation request. On its own it does not identify you: it is a list of pack names and quantities that is not linked to your name or contact details. 2.3Storing it is strictly necessary for a feature you ask for, so it needs no consent and we show no cookie banner. The rules behind this are Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive, which covers local storage as well as cookies, section 25(2) of the German TDDDG, and regulation 6 of the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations as amended, each of which exempts storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for. ## 3.What we do not use 3.1We do not use cookies or similar tools for advertising, retargeting, social media tracking or visitor analytics, and we do not load third-party scripts that do. 3.2Our fonts are served from this site itself. Your browser does not contact Google or any other font service to load them. 3.3Our website host keeps ordinary server logs for security and reliability, and may, in rare cases when it screens suspicious traffic to protect the site, set a short-lived security cookie to complete that check. A cookie like that is strictly necessary for security and is not used to recognise you for any other purpose. We do not control them. ## 5.How to clear what we store 5.1Remove the pack lines from your quote list on the site, or clear this site's data in your browser's settings. Your quote list will then be empty. ## 6.If this changes 6.1If we ever add cookies or tools that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will first tell you here and ask for your consent through a clear choice to accept or refuse, and we will not set them until you agree. In the EU that consent is required for analytics. In the UK, some analytics may be run without consent if we give you clear information and an easy way to opt out, but we would still tell you here first.
