## Standard export terms

The usual terms for an export order. Everything else, prices included, is in your written quotation.

Minimum order

1 tonne in a consolidated shipment, or a full 20 ft container. A 20 ft container typically carries 16 to 20 tonnes in 50 kg sacks.

Pack formats

25 kg and 50 kg woven sacks with an inner liner, palletised and shrink-wrapped. 1 tonne bulk bags and private-label retail packs on request.

Quotation

Written, in the currency agreed, valid for 15 days. It states the price basis, quantity, packing, lead time and payment terms.

Price basis (Incoterms 2020)

FCA our unit or an Indian port for containers, with CPT or CIP to your named place. FOB, CFR and CIF are used only for non-containerised cargo.

Payment

By bank transfer (T/T), usually 30% in advance and 70% against a copy of the bill of lading. An irrevocable letter of credit at sight can be used for larger orders. Other terms are by agreement.

Import permits

You confirm in writing, before we accept an advance and before shipment, that you hold every import permit and certificate your country requires for manure-based organic fertiliser. The Export terms list what each destination may ask for.

Samples

A sample and a specification sheet before you commit. Courier charges are stated in your quotation.

Lead time

Typically 10 to 20 working days from the advance for a container load, plus transit. The quotation states the schedule.

Documents

Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, and a certificate of origin. Phytosanitary or heat-treatment certificates are supplied where they can be obtained. Other papers your country requires are agreed with you before shipment.

Inspection

You may appoint an independent inspector, at your cost, to check the goods before loading.

Duties and taxes

Import duties, taxes and customs charges at the destination are paid by the buyer. Insurance is included under CIP or CIF and otherwise arranged by the buyer.

Claims

Report any quality or quantity issue in writing, with photos, within 7 days of arrival, and send a retained sample for testing within 15 days. Our remedy is replacement or a refund for the affected goods, up to the invoice value of those goods.

Delays and events beyond control

Neither side is liable for a delay caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as port closures, severe weather or government action. We tell you promptly and agree a new schedule.

Governing law

The laws of India. Disputes go to arbitration seated in Gurugram, as set out in the Export terms.
